We maintain a company-owned fleet of flatbed and specialized equipment for regional deliveries. What is Container Lifting and Moving Services?

R&A Trucking Company picks up and delivers your storage container wherever and whenever you need it. These are mobile self-loading container trucks known as Swing-lifts, Side-loaders and sometimes as ‘Self-loading trailers.’ You need them? We have them at R&A!

Benefits of Container Lifting Services

Unlike using a Landoll trailer or tow truck company to move containers, side-loading provides the ability to move loaded containers. Level lifting prevents container contents from shifting. It reduces the potential for damage to ground surfaces caused by dragging or dropping containers into place. It eliminates the need for costly cranes or forklifts.

Flatbeds

Load and unload from the side. Ideal for heavy or long material that cannot be contained in a closed trailer.

Box & Van Trailers

The most common type of transport equipment on the road today. We offer 42’ reinforced floors. Lift gate service is available.

Drop Decks

A Drop Deck or Step Deck offers a lower deck height and center of gravity to safely handle heavy or tall loads.

Rolling Tarp & Curtain Side

A curtain side is similar to a box trailer, except the sides are movable curtains made of reinforced waterproof fabric. The purpose of a curtain side is to couple the security and weather-resistance of a box trailer with a flatbed’s ease of loading. It increases driver safety as well as loading and unloading times.

End Dumps

End dump trailers are used for hauling bulk materials such as base rock, dirt or other materials that can be dumped from the back of the trailer.

Set of Doubles

A set of doubles is composed of 2 small trailers that are coupled by a dolly. The doubles allow for more deck space and a tighter turning radius.

Removable Gooseneck / Extendable Double Drop

Ideal for equipment hauling and over-dimensional loads. Low deck height allows for lower center of gravity and extends to handle long or tall loads.

Roll Off

A body job roll off truck is used to move and place roll-off boxes. The boxes are filled with debris or bulk material and can then be transported as a unit. With a winch a roll off box is pulled onto the truck loaded or empty.
